Objectives, objectives, objectives
You may need to fully understand what is the key business objectives and goals changed when you launched your website? Is your aim is to earn money through pay per click program, promote other people products and earn commission or simply selling your product or services. You may need to revisit your website’s content to ensure it supports your business objectives and needs.

Get rid of any useless items
Are your key messages able to impact your visitor and grab their attention? Are there any redundant buttons that could be eliminated? Are the images too distracting or the background too striking? You must know that every item on your website competes for your visitors’ attention. Basically, you need to scrutinize every element in your website and help to deliver a strong message.

In addition, you should try to ensure that your background design or color integrates with your images, web logo and content. Dump backgrounds will make it difficult for reader to read your web content.

Speed is everything.
You should eliminate any flashing content. Flashing content irritates visitors and turns them away. Although it could appear attractive, repeated visitor will find it boring and tends to skip them. Furthermore, it will increase the loading time and it will get the visitor frustrated if their internet connection is slow.

Your pages should be loaded as fast as possible, keeping in mind that not all people have a fast internet connection. Never make your visitors wait 30 seconds or more just to watch your logo spin around. This is one of the top killers that turn your visitor away.

Eliminate music
If possible, you may not like to consider music in your website. It tends to slow down the access to your site and can be potentially cheapen your presentation. If there is a need for the music, there should be option for the visitor to turn it either on or off.

Repair or delete broken links
You need to check all your links and be quick to repair or delete any that bring your visitors to the error message. This is important as visitor will get a bad impression if there are errors occurred in your website. If a section is under construction, you should remove that section.
