The founder of Mary Kay Cosmetics, Mary Kay Ash once said, “It is better to be tired and successful than to be a failure and feeling quite rested.”

Serious Entrepreneurs NEVER quit!

Of course, we have our moments when we are brain-dead from exhaustion.

But the next day, once the sun’s rays hit the earth, we’ll get up and do anything and everything to have our name pop up as the number 1 business on Google or make a huge sale.

Facing challenges head on with resolve and gusto is in the serious entrepreneur’s blood. Conquering the impossible is what we live and breathe for.

The motto that I have chosen to live with in my adult life is this, “It sucks to be second!!”

To quit? That definitely isn’t in my vocabulary.

Reality is, though, most entrepreneurs struggled before they hit it big.

Walt Disney? This guy was fired from the Kansas City Star Newspaper when he was young because he was found to “lack creativity” by his boss. He was forced to shut down the first company that he formed, he could barely pay the rent…

And had even resorted to eating dog food!

What about J.K. Rowling? She wrote the best seller Harry Potter series but did you know that she was rejected by 12 publishers before a small publishing company took her manuscript with much hesitation? They even told her that she should get a real job.

When she was writing her first novel, her life was in shambles. She was living on government help in a small flat with her daughter and was going through a divorce.

Right now, she is ranks second among the richest women entertainers in the world and is just right behind Oprah.

Many of you reading this are probably struggling with your home business, trying to make it succeed.

If you’ve been told that online marketing and direct sales is a FAST, EASY, PAINLESS way to make millions

You’ve been lied to!

Success takes time.

Success takes trial and error. A lot of trials and a whole lot more errors.

It also means that you have to deal with people who are negative and do not expect you to be successful.

Don’t quit! Hang in there.

To truly be a Serious Entrepreneur, as Walt Disney wisely suggests, “The way to get started is to quit talking and begin doing.
